About Sebastian

dailydiscipline-small1

Sebastian’s love for yoga only came about after years of practice in both Vipassana and in Korean Zen Meditation. After experiencing the joy of finding stillness and peace in the heart of movement, he decided to complete his yoga teacher training at the Yoga Sanctuary with Cynthia Funk and Karusia Wroblewski.

Most recently Sebastian has taken his practice to new heights by studying the art of Acro Yoga with Jessie Goldberg and Eugene Poku of Acro Yoga Montreal.

Sebastian’s approach to yoga is constantly evolving as he has realized that in order to teach one must always be a humble student.

Sebastian’s Personal and Teaching Philosophy

“My philosophy on teaching is to create a safe and non-competitive atmosphere that honours the body-mind and Spirit. I strive to teach a well balanced class that provides students with the tools and knowledge that help bring focus, awareness and balance to their lives both on and off the mat.”

May all beings be happy!

    Hello Sebastian!

Just checking in to see if the bi-weekly partner yoga is a go over at Danforth? If not, please remember, that we have a weekend space available at Seven Seeds Yoga Studio in the east end. If you guys are interested, I could hook you up with a few more people into the acro practice (do you know Edgar Bernard?), and I have been wanting to do a little “Circus and Yoga” event over at the studio. I have a set of aerial silks, and can get a trapeze rig as well. Could make for an interesting time!

    Hope you are well.

    Hey Sebastian,

I wanted to thank you for a great class this weekend at the yoga conference. I just wrote to Kaelyn how your style and playful approach to yoga has influenced my programing for the kids and teen programs I am developing this summer.

    Namaste,
    Laura Cooney RYT
